My Current Goal:

Our son Caleb who lost his battle with Budd-Chiari Syndrome* (see below) in April 2019.  Caleb loved geocaching.  He would race his brothers to caches and pronounce his superior skills much to the chagrin of his brothers.  Since his life was cut short and he did not get to travel much outside of the state of Iowa we would like to see these travel bug's go around the world for Caleb.  Bug #2 carries a football on the key chain it is attached to. Bug #3 and #4 has a picture of Caleb attached.  Football, specifically New England Patriots football, was his other passion.  Julian Edelman was his hero.  The smile on Caleb's face in February 2019 when Julian won the MVP was priceless.  Travel on little bug, travel on!

*Budd-Chiari Syndrome is a rare liver disease where the hepatic veins become narrowed or occluded.  There is no known cause for the syndrome.  The only treatment that cures the syndrome is a liver transplant.  Unfortunately Caleb lost his battle before a donated liver could arrive.  Visit www,rarediseases.org to find out nore about Budd-Chiari and other rare diseases that do not get researched due to their  rare occurence.  If you feel so moved, feel free to donate to the rare disease organization.
