Badger's Quest Border Collie Trackable is a Border Collie Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

NEW MISSION; 

To travel as far as possible from Cache to Cache.

Badger’s Quest has travelled between England and Australia. Now after a long break from Geocaching a new Quest. To celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary we are taking a cruise on the Rhine from Germany to Switzerland. we will drop Badger’s quest on route to travel to rivers where possible. photos would be appreciated.

Hochzeitstag zu feiern, machen wir eine Kreuzfahrt auf dem Rhein von Deutschland in die Schweiz. wir werden Badgers Quest auf dem Weg zum Reiseverkehr zu Flüssen wo möglich machen. Fotos würden geschätzt.

Some years ago our Daughter Lucy told us for her first job she was going to work in London for two years. We knew we would miss her, but London Is not the end of the world, so we agreed. While she was working and living in London, as a Nanny, she met an Australian travelling the world on a gap year. Needless to say he swept her off her feet and off she went to Australia. After a trip arround Italy and Australia they Married and now have two lovely children and are living in Perth W.A.
London may not have been the end of the world but AUSTRALIA IS.
When she left for Australia after getting Married here, she left her old Collie Dog ''Badger" behind. He has now passed away after spending many happy years with us. Badger could never go to find her in Australia, but this Trackable CAN.
THE MISSION IS TO GO TO PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA WHERE OUR DAUGHTER CAN PICK IT UP AND BRING IT HOME TO VISIT US.

NB. Badgers Quest reached Australia but unfortunatly was lost. before reaching Perth WA so Lucy was not able to bring it home with her when she visited a couple of years ago for the weddining of our son Scott. I have now had a replacement made and will bring it out to Australia when I visit in March 2016 to meet our new granddaughter.

SO A NEW QUEST AND A NEW MISSION. AS LUCY IS UNLIKELY TO VISIT THE UK FOR A LONG WHILE THE MISSION IS FOR BADGER'S QUEST TO GET BACK HOME TO WORCESTER UK FROM AUSTRALIA. In August 2017 it is our Ruby Wedding Anniversary if Badger's Quest could reach the UK by then it would be a BIG bonus.]
