This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Marvin the Mammoth's Worldwide Walkabout is a Cachekinz - Prehistoric Series Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Team Burgo live in the landlocked County of Leicestershire in England so suffer from a bad case of wanderlust.

After a lovely fortnight in Norfolk this year we discovered all about the West Runton Mammoth which was found on the cliffs in West Runton, North Norfolk in 1990. To tie in with our desire to travel we found this little fella and christened him Marvin (after the Paranoid Android in the TV Show from 1981 "The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy") which Team Burgo's Nathan also discovered for the first time on the same holiday.

So what is Marvin's mission ... ??  simply put ... to visit as many countries as possible before he reaches "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe" Starting out from Team Burgo's "Ramsay" geocache.

Both Marvin and the members of Team Burgo would like to thank you for your assistance that you give him on his journey and for any photos you may post of his adventures.

Feel free to add anything appropriate to Marvin's key chain to keep him company on his way.
