2020 "New Zealand's First" - Tribute Plaque Geocoin - HoustonTxDave is a "First New Zealand" Tribute Plaque Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

My Current Goal:

This trackable tribute coin was created to support of the first geocache hidden OUTSIDE the USA in Rotorua, NewZealand. On May 12, 2000 at the location of GC45 (First New Zealand) a geocache was placed 9 days after the first geocache in the world was place near Portland, Oregan. This is a bronze replica of the one placed in Rotorua, New Zealand.
