This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Alphabet #1 is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

Dieser Travelbug darf nur in Caches gelegt werden, deren Namen mit den Buchstaben A - K beginnen. Er steht im Wettbewerb mit seinem Bruder, dem Alphabet # 2, der sich den Buchstaben K - Z widmet. Die mit dem Buchstaben K und mit Ziffern beginnenden Caches dürfen von beiden besucht werden. Damit haben beide jeweils etwa die Hälfte der in Deutschland bei GC registrierten Caches als mögliches Ziel. Im Internet kann dann anhand der Anzahl der Logs der Spielstand verfolgt werden. This travelbug is only allowed to be placed in caches, where the name starts with the alphabetic characters A – K. It stands in a competition with his brother, Alphabet # 2, which dedicates itself to the letters K – Z. Caches beginning with the letter K or with numbers may be visited by both. Thus both of them have about half of the caches, which are registered at GC in Germany, as a possible goal. In the internet the score can be pursued by the number of logs.
