This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Cachemail experiment #1 - Bertie the Beefeater is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Once upon a time, before the invention of the mail, letters would be carried by travellers, being passed on to others who were going in the right direction. In an attempt to recreate this, I'm trying an experiment in cachemail. *** Update - Marie has moved *** Bertie will be carrying a postcard to my Aunt, who is in Collie, Western Australia. It looks like the best cache is Minninup, cache GC13M7E. Hopefully, I can then either guide my Aunt to the cache, or someone can deliver it for me. If anyone wants to add greetings to my aunt, or something for Bertie to deliver on the way, then feel free.
