This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Rail Rider is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Hi my name is Rail Rider. I love the sounds of the era of steam. Whistle blowing in the crispy clear air, the sounds of the first head of steam being released in a rush through the cylinders,and the engine begins to inch forward. For many, this is an era of the past, but I love it so much, I cannot live without it. Will you help me continue to live my life of the past by taking me on as many of the old steam railroads as remain in the United States and Canada? Then when you have taken me on a ride on the rails send me on my way to explored the next rail adventure. Please take pictures and post them, with a description of the adventure that we have shared, on my log. Remember to post some of your own insights and steam era experiences also. I know that not everyone I meet will want to ride the rails with me so please just point me in the right direction as you move me along my way.
