This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

American Coin / JOHN ADAMS ("GONE DARK") is a USA Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

My Current Goal:

John Adams, the second president of the United States (March 4, 1797 to March 3, 1801), was a central figure in America's movement for independence and in the creation of the Declaration of Independence. He also served as Washington's vice president, and as a diplomat to France, the Netherlands and Great Britain. Adams was the first president to live in the White House, and the first whose son also became president. He died on July 4, 1826, the same day as his political rival, Thomas Jefferson.
