This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

TEXAS Travel Bug Dog Tag is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

I made a couple of roadtrips to southern states this summer and picked up a few souveniers along the way. My initial intent was to convert them to travel bugs and come up with some unique and clever mission with some relevance to where the items were acquired.
But, 'clever' doesn't always materialize when you need it to, and this is what I came up with instead. Hope you enjoy!

I have three southern state TBs:

(1)  Arkansas   (TB4XGPT)
(2)  Oklahoma  (TB4XGQ0)
(3)  Texas         (TB4XGQW)

All three TBs will be dropped at GC35M0V - Colorado Geocoinfest Mega Event in Denver, Colorado, October 5-7, 2012.


There are also three mission objectives (A, B, C) for the three TBs:

Mission A: See which TB returns to its original state the fastest
Mission B: See which TB is logged at another Mega geocaching event (after October 7, 2012)
Mission C: See which TB is logged as dropped or visited a cache (or event) in all three states (Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas)

(NOTE: The missions do not need to be accomplished in sequential order.)
