This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Koko the Gorilla is a Hidden Creatures Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

This TB is in honor of Koko the Gorilla... Koko was on of the most intelligent gorillas the world had ever seen, and she knew it too.  She was born in 1971 at the San Francisco Zoo and was named Hanabiko.  Hanabiko is a Japanese name that translates to "fireworks child", a name that describes the events of her birth, July 4. 

 

She was an exceptional animal and was the first gorilla to communicate in sign language.  She knew over 1,000 signs from the ASL and would understand 2,000 words of spoken English.

 

Take with TB to caches in zoo's around the country and photos of other gorillas would be great.
