This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Hiker-John is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

Dear finder,

thank you for grabbing me. My life tast is to discover the world. Take me on your journey with me and put me in a sufficiently large cache, so that others can carry me even further. I would like to create a photo album, where I can keep my memories of the places I lingered. To make this album, please take a picture of me and the surrounding area in which you will drop me. Or, if possible, with an attraction nearby. Share this image with your log and I am very happy!

Even if you did not plan a holiday in the near future to carry me far, please do not keep me.  Rather put me in a nearby cache. I'd like to keep moving :)

Hallo lieber Finder,

danke, dass du mich mitgenommen hast. Meine Lebensaufgabe ist es, die Welt zu entdecken. Nimm mich auf deine Reise mit und lege mich in einen ausreichend großen Cache ab, damit andere mich noch weiter tragen können. Ich möchte sehr gerne ein Fototagebuch führen, in dem ich die Orte, an denen ich verweilte, festhalten kann. Um dieses Album zu führen, mach bitte ein Foto von mir und der Umgebung, in der du mich wieder ablegen wirst. Oder, wenn möglich, mit einer Sehenswürdigkeit in der Nähe. Hänge dieses Bild deinem Log bei und ich bin sehr glücklich!

Auch wenn du in nächster Zeit kein Urlaub geplant hast, um mich weit zu tragen, bitte behalte mich nicht. Dann lege mich lieber in einen nahegelegenen Cache. Ich möchte gerne in Bewegung bleiben :)
