This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Maurice is a GeoPets Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

My son loves tortoises. One in particular. His name is Sampson and he lives at The Reptile Gardens in South Dakota. He could spend ours just snuggling that giant tortoise if we would let him. In honor of my boy's tender heart toward this large gentle creature, I am sending out Maurice the Tortoise. My hope is that this special TB can go out into the world and meet more animal lovers. If you grab him, please take care of him and introduce him to other animals before moving him along. Help Maurice (and by animal loving boy) create a photo album of a variety of animals and maybe one day he can make his way back to us to tell us more about his adventures and new friends.
