This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Whitebeard is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

Whitebeard wants to find his mutinous crew, Pirates of the Caribbean, regain their allegiance, then together return to the Treasure of Skeleton Swamp to hide any treasures they plunder along the way. But can they ever reunite and travel together after such a rift has developed between them, both in distance and in loyalty? Whitebeard knows the odds are slim, and there are many dangers he will encounter while on his quest. But he is counting on people like you to help him along the way.
