This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Air Force Brat Bug is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

My father was career Air Force (starting with the Army Air Corps). We boys lived at 6 different Air Force Bases. So, the mission of this Bug is going to be to visit all 6 bases' entrances (or what is left of them) in the given order:

1. Westover Air Force Base (now Westover Air Reserve Base), Chicopee, MA
2. Elmendorf Air Force Base (now Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER)), Anchorage, Alaska
3. Norton Air Force Base (now San Bernardino International Airport), San Bernardino, CA
4. Clark Air Base (now Clark Freeport Zone), Philippines
5. McClellan Air Force Base (now McClellan Park), North Highlands, CA
6. Vandenberg Air Force Base, Lompoc, CA

So, the initial goal is Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee Massachusetts. Please take a picture at the entrance (or base museum, or...) and then start it onto the Base. Once completed, send it back to Palos Verdes, CA. TIA.
