This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

EarthCache 10th Birthday Geocoin is a EarthCache 10th Birthday Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

Trackable ItemIf you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

In der Sammlung bleiben und an die schönen ECs erinnern!

EarthCache 10 Year Anniversary Geocoin and Tag Set

Has it really been 10 years!?!

It really has. The first EarthCache (GCHFT2) was placed by geoaware on January 10, 2004 on a headland in New South Wales, Australia. To mark this 10th Anniversary, what can be better than an Earthcache cake coin! .

This great design for both Earth and Geo cachers is a limited edition. The coin also comes with a dinosaur fossil travel tag with a matching code. This means that you can leave the coin in your collection while the tag explores all of the interesting things that the Earth has to offer.

Each Geocoin gets its own page on geocaching.com where you can track its progress as it passes from person to person or cache to cache. Or make your friends jealous when you let them discover it at events!

Size:
Geocoin: Approximately 2 inches x 1.75 inches
Travel Tag: Approximately 1.75 inches by 1.75 inches
