This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Space Shuttle Columbia Geocoin is a Space Shuttle Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Do you remember where, or what you were doing when you found out STS 107 "Columbia" broke apart on re-entry? I do. At work, sitting in the ambulance at Churchill Downs during the morning work outs. In-between songs they interrupted the broadcast to say that something went wrong, and communications had been lost. Also stating that radar was picking up multiple objects in the area the Columbia should be in. The MISSION for this trackables is to travel far and wide remembering BOTH shuttle crews last in those tragic accidents. If you would like, tell what you remember when you found out.
