This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Hairy Conchita is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Hairy Conchita is owned by our first son who is in college and currently too poor to travel himself. Hairy loves adventures, both big and small. A good day would be spent soaking in the rays on a hot beach or a cool hike in the woods...it really doesn't matter as long as it's not sitting thru another lecture. Take me with you on your adventures and if you can include a picture. Our college son will not graduate for another 4 1/2 years, until then he can live thru your adventures.

Our first son graduated in the spring of 2011 from Virginia Tech and is now happily employed as an architect just outside of Washington DC.  He and his fiance have their own geocaching account and love an adventure.  It will be a while before they can afford to travel as much as Hairy Conchita but we are all amazed that he is still active (as of 12/12) and traveling around Europe.  Thanks to all for continuing the jouney and happy caching.
