Käpt`n Krischan is a Original GeoToken Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

Trackable ItemIf you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

Dieser Geotoken möchte gerne alle 7 Weltmeere bereisen. Wenn ihr mit der Münze an einem der unten angeführten Meere angekommen seid, wäre es schön wenn ihr ein Foto mit dem GT und dem Meer im Hintergrund macht und dazuschreibt an welchem Meer sich der GT gerade befindet. Vielen Dank.

Die 7 Weltmeere:

Der noch heute gebräuchliche Ausdruck der Sieben Weltmeere umfasst die historisch für den Seehandel bedeutendsten Gewässer. Neben den drei Ozeanen zählen die vier großen „Mittelmeere“ dazu: zu einem großen Teil von Land umschlossene Nebenmeere der Ozeane, die für den Seehandel so bedeutend sind/waren, dass sie in der Seefahrt als selbständige Meere betrachtet wurden. 

Die Sieben Weltmeere sind daher:

  1. der Atlantische Ozean (Atlantik),
  2. der Indische Ozean (Indik),
  3. der Pazifische Ozean (Pazifik, Stiller Ozean oder Großer Ozean),
  4. das Arktische Mittelmeer (Nordpolarmeer),
  5. das Amerikanische Mittelmeer (Karibisches Meer und Golf von Mexiko),
  6. das Australasiatische Mittelmeer (begrenzt von den Sunda-Inseln, Australien, Neuguinea, den Philippinen und dem asiatischen Festland),
  7. und das Europäische Mittelmeer.
