This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Alex's Racing Sponge #2 is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

My Current Goal:

This travel bug is in a race with three other traveling sponges. We were on a guys trip to NYC with three generations of our family and spending quite a bit of time learning about the history of this remarkable city.
 
The goal of this race is to be the first traveling sponge TB to make it back to Visalia, Ca, our home town.
