This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

America's Main St. Rt.66 is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

America's Main St. Rt. 66 desires to visit as many of the old sites along Rt. 66 that were so popular before Rt. 66 was upgraded and became I-40, I-44, and I-55. Post a photo of anything you think may have been one of the "sights" that early travelers saw. (Some may now be "eyesores"). Many stretches of Rt. 66 are being rejuvenated to capture the sight and feel of the Mother Road as it once existed.

This TB has the goal of eventually traveling the length of Rt. 66 from Santa Monica, CA, to Chicago, IL, or vice versa.

Please do not grab this TB unless you can move it along I-40, I-44, and I-55, which generally follow the original route of Rt. 66.
