This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Kaitlyn's Fire is a Trackable Building Brick Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

While visiting cousins in the Omaha area recently, including 10 year old Kaitlyn, I showed them what geocaching was all about. I also showed them the trackables I had with me, one of which was a Lego train. When I mentioned that I had a red Lego, that I hadn't decided what to do with yet, Kaitlyn immediately came up with the fire idea. Coincidentally, wildfires were just starting to create havoc in CA, in both regions we have family. So, we'd like to use this to create fire safety awareness, especially in the wooded areas we all geocache in! 

Please keep this moving, both to spread the message of fire safety, and because Kaitlyn is following its travels! Thanks!
