This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Amalthea (The Last Unicorn) is a Travel Unicorn Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Lady Amalthea's mission is to live forever since she is "The Last Unicorn." Please do not keep her, she would like to go from cache to cache, all over the world. Her goal is to travel the world and visit as many creatures as she can. Pictures of the world are always a plus.

Just PLEASE do not keep her forever. She has a lot of love to give and share with the world. <3

(Her mission is much like the original: believing she is the last of her kind in the world, she sets off on a journey to discover what has happened to the other unicorns. She encounters a host of diverse characters as her journey progresses, each of them bringing her closer to her goal.)

There is a line in The Last Unicorn by my favorite character Schmendrick (the magician) that has always stuck with me that I think very much applies to any trackable (but especially this one): "Take me with you...for luck, for laughs, for the unknown..."
