This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Santa Fe Caboose #24 is a Rudolph the Reindeer Travel Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

I am the 24th Santa Fe caboose I have released onto the Geocaching world. I want to visit any cabooses in parks and museum's. Many of the cabooses on display have a geocache on it or nearby. Visiting one of them would be fantastic.

The caboose used to be used on the rear of every freight train but due to rampant cost cutting and technology they are rarely used anymore. So some were donated to cities and towns along the railroad route and are now on display in a park or museum.
