This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

[Trackable] 52 Card Pickup is a GeocacheAlaska! Travelers Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

It's easy to buy a deck of cards to throw on the floor and then pick them up. My mission is a little more complex than that, though. I want to build my deck by adding 1 card to the stack from each of the 50 states in the US, and one from the District of Columbia. Yes, I know that's only 51, but BBSmalls has supplied the ace of spades to start the deck. Once the deck is complete, I want to be reacquainted with my owner, BBSmalls. He is currently in San Antonio, TX.

Here's the tricky part: I only want 1 card from each state, and only 1 of each card/suit pair. For example, if you pick me up in Florida, and I already have a Florida card, please help me get to a location that I do not have a card for.

If you are visiting when you find me, please do not add a card to the deck,
unless you physically take me back to your state and dip me in a cache first for mileage.

If you are adding a card, please write the date, your geoname, and the state on the face of the card with permanent marker, place it in the deck in order with the other cards (A-K spades, A-K hearts, A-K clubs, A-K diamonds), mark off the new card on the included checklist, then send me on my way to another state! I would also like BBSmalls and others to see periodic photos which show the deck's growth over time.
