About 7 miles in total through Waywayand State Park. Terrain is not too difficult and the variety of terrain is outstanding

Graffiti Rock Ramble

Great hike in an area that is underutilized by hikers. Nice view not far from the cache.  Length of hike varies greatly with approach.  Not much in the way of marked trails in the area.

Hamburg High

Great area to explore. The shortest route is not the easiest.
About 5 miles to and back if you chose the route I took.

Middle'aNowhere

Great hike to outstanding views. Do not miss this cache along with the others in the area. About a 9 mile RT circuit.

Mt. Taurus

This might be NJ's premier hiking cache. It has it all, scenery, rugged terrain, interesting flora and fauna. Its beween 6 and 10 miles depending on your approach.

New York/New Jersey Multi-State Multi-Cache

Steep climb from the valley or a longer but flatter hike from the east. Not far from the AT and the fabulous Pinwheel Vista viepoint.

Pinwheel Vista

Excellent hike in Stokes SF. Unique way of providing interim coordinates.  Great view about .3 miles from the final cache. Do not miss it!

Stokes State Forest Petroglyph Trail Challenge

The area around Terrace Pond is one of NJ's most beautiful. A good, challenging hike of about 4 miles RT. 

Terrace Pond North

The hike isn't too long, maybe 3 miles RT, but the view  is outstanding. Bushwack down to Turkey Swamp Lake to complete a 5 mile circuit.

Torrey Mountain      NEW CLUE ADDED

Great view  in one of NJ's most unappreciated hiking areas. Shhhh, I shouldn't even be putting this on any list  lest the area start getting crowded.

Wanaque Overlook

Not a long hike from Stonetown Rd, but a great view. The ambitious can take the entire Stonetown Circular trail for a really good hike

Windbeams Windfall

Caches that have great hikes. Most are hikes of three miles or more in scenic areas. Pack a lunch, bring your binoculars and enjoy!
