This is the 3rd in a series of picnic caches all of which are located at picnic spots where a bench is available to eat at.
Once you’ve located the cache we would recommend taking a wander around any of the routes here as they are both very informative and fun and all with wonderful views.
Some of the paths can be a little muddy so proper footwear is recommended
Red waymark - Eucalyptus walk - 1.5km / 1 mile - approx 1 hour
Blue way mark - Conifer walk - 1.3km / 3/4 mile - approx 1 hour
Green waymark - Hemlock walk - 0.6km / 1/4 mile - approx 30 mins
Yellow way mark - John Jackson walk - 0.5km / 1/4 mile - approx 30 mins
You can also walk around a black path which will take about 1 - 1 1/2hrs and if your looking for a bit more why not trek over from here to Pucks Glen (there are a couple of caches in there too) - from the car park follow the blue waymarker along the flat (not the green and blue markers up the hill) if you continue along this forest track without turning off to any of the waymarks you will come to a gate - go though it and continue along the path until either you come to the orange waymark which will lead you down into the glen or if you want to go for the caches in the Glen keep going to the crossroads signpost. - this walk there and back will take about 2 hours.
