Geocache Description:

This is the 6th in a series of picnic caches all of which are located at picnic spots where a bench is available to eat at.

This walk climbs up Kilbride Hill following the blue way markers for about 3 miles through a stand of tall conifers and alongside the rushing Berry Burn.  As it emerges from the depths of the trees, a wide panoramic view opens up, across to Loch Long, Helensburgh, Dunoon and Inverkip.

It takes us about 2 hours to walk around this route

Parking is available in Kilbride car park (We don’t use this car park but I will get some co-ordinates to add later) or Bishops Glen. (If you park at the Glen – you will need to walk about half ways around it until you reach the gates to the forest track and then follow the way markers – this will add about 15 to 20 minutes to your time but it is worth it)
