Der Rosskofel ist 2240 m hoch und liegt in den Karnischen Alpen. Der Gipfel des Rosskofels liegt gerade nicht mehr in Österreich. Die Aussicht ist vor allem ins Kanaltal großartig, man kann aber auch dem Treiben am Nassfeld aus der 1. Reihe fußfrei zuschauen oder den Klettersteiggehern des Winkelturms auf die langen Arme schauen, wenn sie am Gipfel angekommen sind.
Es befindet sich auch ein gigantisches Höhlensystem unter dem Rosskofelmassiv, allerdings ist es nicht ratsam, die Höhle ohne geeignete Ausrüstung zu betreten.
Der Rosskofel ist über das Schigebiet Nassfeld und die Nassfeldstraße relativ leicht erreichbar, es gibt zahlreiche Anstiege.

Rosskofel is a mountain which is situated in the Karnische Alps and it is 2240 m high.
The summit of Rosskofel is just located out of Austria. You have nice scenery on top of the mountain into the Kanaltal, you can watch the hustle and bustle on Nassfeld and you can watch the people who have done the via ferrata on Winkelturm.
On Rosskofel there is a huge cave but you shouldn´t try to get in at the entrance without special equipment.
As Rosskofel is situated close to the skiing area Nassfeld and the road to Nassfeld it is easily accessible and there are quite a lot of ascents.
