MMCC (iii) - 'D-elve V-ery D-iscreetly'
The Digital Versatile Disc (DVD) largely replaced the previous video system other than for home recording, although that then went digital with recordable DVDs or hard drive devices. Whilst bluray and internet streaming are now the 'new' thing the DVD is still hanging in there as a popular format of recordable media.
The cache is in a small leafy camo bag under bits of wood at the base of a tree surrounded by ivy. The area is a nice secluded bit of Holmebrook Valley Park discovered by accident watching the dog dash off into the trees. As always there could still be others playing in this area so use stealth even though it does appear secluded here. This has been placed with the permission of the council. There is a notable track up into the trees from a park bench on the lower side and although it is not a main gravel path it opens up into a tree covered haven. It is located about 60 metres (big strides) uphill, then just before you get to a 5-trunk tree it is 15-20 metres off to the left (West). I have avoided placing it under a spikey hawthorn tree but still watch out for low branches and twigs sticking out.
There is a log inside to sign, with a pencil, and space for trackables and swappables too. Please hide it after finding and enjoy the rest of the park. Don't forget to make a note of the clue code for the bonus MMCC cache. The Debut Verified Discovery award for FTF goes to Toshack61 on this one.
The park is open all the time but be aware the car park gates do close around dusk.
There are now all 7 standard caches and the bonus one released in the MMCC series, make sure to hunt for the others too if you plan to get the full set and find the bonus cache with souvenir. All the clue codes for the bonus are written or printed somewhere about the cache containers and are in the format of 'i = 1' or 'ii = 2' etc. (The real clues are not actually 1 and 2 though!).
