Geocache Description:

One of three library sponsored multi-stage puzzle caches. This geocache requires transportation to travel between library locations.

This is one of three multi-stage, puzzle geocache sponsored by Deschutes Public Library. You will have to solve three puzzles to find the physical cache, which will take you on a tour of two of Deschutes Public Library's branches.

The listed coordinates will lead you close to the front door of one our libraries. Once you are inside the library, locate an art installation called "Currents" by Maya Radoczy. Count the number of glass panels in this piece. Add 3 to this number.

Now you have solved for "XX" in the following coordinates: 44.05XX44

Next, locate the Bend Library Dedication Sign. How many members of the Library Advisory Board are listed on the sign? Add 17 to this number.

Now you have solved for "YY" in the following coordinates: -121.YY0577

Hint: If entering in Google Maps use the following format: 44.05XX44,-121.YY0577

Use the new coordinates to take you close to the front door of a similar building. Enter the building and locate a book to find the cache. The book is entitled SIT UBU SIT. This is your clue: Dewey Decimal System Call #GOLDBERG, GARY (in the BIOGRAPHY section)
