Geocache Description:

A puzzle cache for kids (and adults!)

Congratulations, Spykid!

You have been chosen by the Geocaching Secret Service to be a candidate to join their highly covert organization. To prove you are up to the job, you must perform well on four tasks assigned by your leader.

This fourth trial, organized by the G.S.S. Forensics Department will require you to examine evidence to help catch an enemy agent.

You have been assigned to investigate the break-in of Spy Kid headquarters! Three different pieces of evidence were discovered at the crime scene. If you want, you can print a copy of the official Spy Kid Notebook (see link) to record your results. Your mission is to investigate the evidence, then solve the mystery - (and find the Mission #4 cache!)

First, examine the suspicious fingerprint found on the keyboard of our super-secret computer.

As you know, every fingerprint can be classified into one of three categories (arch, whorl or loop.) Match the suspect’s fingerprint with the appropriate category. Record the correct letter in your spy notebook.

Next, investigators also found a bullet in the wall near the security alarm (this must be how the thieves disabled the alarm!)

Examine the bullet closely then match it to a bullet in our database. When you find the correct bullet, record the letter in your spy notebook.

Lastly, investigators gathered enough evidence to determine the thief’s DNA.

You should closely examine the suspect’s DNA, then match that strand to one in our DNA database. When you find the correct DNA strand, record that letter in your spy notebook.

Once you have examined (and solved) all the evidence, you should use the answers written in your spy notebook to solve the mystery (and pinpoint the coordinates to the cache)

If your answer was:

AFK…….Coordinates are 32 55.002 N 117 05.699 W
AEL…….Coordinates are 32 55.802 N 117 06.009 W
BDI…….Coordinates are 32 56.078 N 117 05.112 W

Good Luck, Spy kids…!
