Geocache Description:

A tiny, flat container.
Containing a combined log and info sheet in Norwegian and a small pencil.

Sign only, please don't leave any items.

To find the cache you have to check out 3 locations, and get three numbers:

At these coords you will find 3 old borderstones:
a) N59 54.717 E10 47.390 - What is the number on the stone? a=?
b) N59 54.564 E10 47.508 - What is the number on this stone? b=?
c) N59 54.518 E10 47.587 - What is the street number? (See the number on the west side of the white house) c=?

These stones are 3 of totally 81 border stones that marked the town border of Kristiania/Oslo from 1878 to 1948. All stones are marked with a crown, a number - and on one side the letter K (=Kristiania) and the other side A (=Aker). Kristiania was the name of Oslo until 1924. Almost 40 of the 81 stones can still be seen in Oslo. The stone at a) has been moved about 25 meters from its original positon, the two others seem not to have been moved.

The cache itself (4th location) is placed close to a landmark at Vålerenga, on the town side of the borderline 1878-1948.

To find its coords, insert the numbers above:
N59 54.(a x 10)-8
E10 47.(b x c)/2 -8

If you make this quest a round trip, from a) and back to a), it is less than 2 km.

¤ East: The 3 first locations for PPJ #24 Borderline East

The cache is visible, but not easy to spot! Bring a camera, a dog or some kids to confuse the muggles.
