Geocache Description:

The Area's Longest Multi-Cache

There are two identical markers from which you need to gather information. The first marker is at the coordinates listed above. The encrypted hint will help you verify that you are in the right spot for this marker.

Here's where it gets fun.

An almost identical marker can be found at
N 40° 39.812, W 85° 36.861

No - that's not a typo, the coordinates are for a location just north of Marion, Indiana. You need to find the information at that location, and compare it with the information found at the above coordinates.

How you get this information is up to you. It would be FABULOUS if you were to visit the location, but it is O.K. to contact someone from that area. HOWEVER, if you get information from an outside source, that information shouldn't be posted in the logs, nor should it be "announced" how you got that information. Let everyone try to use their owner resources to gather the required info.

At these coordinates, you'll find that the locations have something identical. There's a portion that is NOT the same, but there's a portion that is the EXACT same information. That's the information you'll need.

Now, a little math. On the portion that is identical, there are two four digit numbers. The first is "A" and the second is "B" Take the first four digit number A and plug it into this formula:

34814.433 ÷ A = Q

Take the second four digit number B and plug it into this formula:

14969.88 ÷ B = X

Your final coordinates are...
N 41° Q
W 088° X

I shouldn't have to say this, but only people who sign the log book in the cache box in Illinois will be able to log a .

The final cache has been placed with permission from the appropriate authorities. It is a clear rubbermaid container, average size. The final container is less than 5 miles from the first marker.

Why Cachiversary 4.5?
I placed
Cachiversary 1: Forget-Me-Nots on my first anniversary of being involved in caching, March 13, 2002. Cachiversary 2: Chasing Bitterman on my second anniversary of being involved in caching, March 13, 2003. Cachiversary 3: Anderson's Introduction on my third anniversary of being involved in caching, March 12, 2004.

In 2005, I didn't have the time, nor the permission to get this cache up, so I placed Cachiversary 3.99 or Shall We Play Another Game? on my fourth anniversary of being involved in caching, March 14, 2005, hoping to get this one approved and up shortly. Due to unforesee problems, it didn't happen until 6 months after my fourth anniversary.

So, Cachiversary 4.5.
