This lookout looks south over Lighthouse Beach and north over
Shelly beach in Ballina. Its one of the best spots in the area to
watch over the whales as they migrate up and down the coast each
year. If you look far enough you can often see dolphins playing
around near the entrance of the river mouth to the south of
Lighthouse beach.
NOTE: If you park in the carpark, you will need
to cross the road to find the cache. Although not difficult, take
care with any little ones you have in your care.
