This is the ninth cache in the series of caches along the hiking route Birgitta trail. During this year, a group of geocachers have hidden more caches along the Birgitta trail, so now you can hike the whole route and search several caches!
Eeverinkivi (Rock of Eevert) is marked on Finnish maps. There is no information on Internet concerning the origin of the name, but there's beside the rock a small information table, which tells that. The people who know the history of the association Tampereen Taivaltajat are able to tell more details. Snow will certainly cover it in winter. It's also possible to find it then, if you know the right place to search. I put into the box two balloons, an owl made of stone and a cutter. Logbook and sharpener are also there, but I forgot the pen. So first visitor, would you please do me a favorite, add a pen there.
Tämä on yhdeksäs kätkö joka kuuluu sarjaan kätköjä, jotka ovat Birgitanpolun varrella. Tämän vuoden aikana joukko geokätkijöitä teki lisää kätköjä Birgitan Polun varteen, joten nyt voit vaeltaa koko polun päästä päähän ja etsiä matkalla useita kätköjä!
Eevertinkivi on merkitty suomalaisiin karttoihin. Internetistä ei tällä hetkellä löydy mitään tietoa nimen alkuperästä, mutta kiven vieressä on taulu, jossa se kerrotaan. Tampereen Taivaltajien historiaa tuntevat henkilöt pystyvät kertomaan asiasta tarkemmin. Lumi varmaankin peittää kätkön talvella. Sen kyllä voi löytää silloinkin, jos osaa etsiä juuri oikeasta kohtaa. Laitoin rasiaan pari ilmapallon kuorta, kivisen pöllön ja leikkurin. Siellä on myöskin lokikirja ja kynänteroitin, mutta unohdin kynän. Joten voisiko ensimmäinen kävijä tehdä minulle palveluksen ja lisätä sinne kynän. |
