This cache is the second placed in the Micro Telford series,
which allows people to explore some of the slightly less well-known
areas of Telford
This particular micro is situated on the bank of Priorslee Lake,
an excellent spot for dog walking (and popular with truck drivers,
as there's a layby with a burger van alongside it) and for Bird
Watching (a Bittern was spotted here a few years ago!). The lake is
currently covered in enough birds to obscure the water in
places!
Parking
There are two parking places for the lake, the first is at SJ
71989 09674 just before the east side of the lake, this can be
reached by heading into Priorslee and following signs for the
lake.
The second is at SJ 72592 09404 which is a layby on the B5060,
there's a burger van here during the day with toilets (which i
think are for customer use only).
Cache Details
The cache itself is a small camera film container which has only
a logbook and pencil inside, there is probaby no room for swaps,
unless they're very small.
It is located on the bank, though you can reach it from the
path, so you should not have to get too close to the water, or
climb accross the rocks
This is a popular area for dogwalkers, so please be very careful
finding and hiding the cache
Other Nearby items
There's nothing else at present that you can easily walk to from
the cache site, though there are a few other caches that will only
take a few minutes drive to reach.
There's also Trig Point a little over a mile away(for those that
do trigpointing as well) at Red
