Deception II - Bridge Over Troubling Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Deception II - Bridge Over Troubling Cache to find out about the status of this cache on August 31, 2009. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

This is a small cache, roughly double the size of a standard micro. It's a cache that may well be seen by some who do not find it.

Located in the Marlborough State Forest, a parcel that connects with Ghiloni Park, it's a short walk in from the designated trailhead located on Hemenway Street,

When you arrive in the vicinity of the posted coordinates you should be able to find a small container in a likely spot. Inside the small container, I have provided instructions for finding the cache along with some tools you may or may not use to complete this hunt. Your challenge is to determine how to use what has been provided in the easy-to-find container to log your name in the not so obvious cache.

There are several parking options:

It's about a ten minute walk to the cache if you park at the Meadows, 370 Hemenway Street, and access the trailhead located on Hemenway Street between two houses, 342 Hemenway and 358 Hemenway.

You'll have an even shorter walk if you drive further inside the Meadows/New Horizons complex to a second trailhead. You cannot see the trail from the parking lot. Just get as close as you can by car, then navigate to it using these coordinates: N 42 21.798, W 71 30.577.

For a longer hike of about two miles round trip that will take you past two other area caches, Ghilioni Nature Trail and Brianna's 1st, you can access the Ghiloni Park trailhead at: N 42 21.211, W 71 31.161.

Additional information and a map of the area is available online at: (visit link)

Note: This cache contains a clue sheet for the Fall Bonanza Bonus cache. Make sure you write down the information provided, but please do not remove the clue sheet from the container (visit link)
