Geocache Description:

What do you get when you cross the world's busiest airport with a cache full of travel bugs? Bugs flyin' all over the place! Feel free to exchange, drop off, or simply visit this easy-to-find cache (you might find it without a gps) that is located less than one half-mile from the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. It's a 30cal ammo can.

This is a great cache to visit if you are in the airport for a layover. Although the cache is about a half-mile from the terminal, it would not be safe to walk there because you would have to use very busy roads with no sidewalks. However, there should be plenty of taxis around.

This cache is placed with the full knowledge and support of the director and staff of the Georgia International Convention Center. We also have the College Park Police's full knowledge and approval. They are all aware of this cache and will be checking on it. They may show up while someone is visiting the cache, just explain who you are and what you are doing and there should not be any problems :)

Directions:
- As you are leaving the airport, follow the "Return to Terminal/Camp Creek Parkway" signs.
- Get onto Camp Creek Parkway and take a left at the first light (Convention Center Concourse) which leads to the Georgia International Convention Center.
- Drive around until you see a marquee with "International Ballroom" written underneath, Drive on past this to near the end of the building and make a u-turn to head back the way you came.
- Right as you make your u-turn there is a concrete apron where you can pull over. Your taxi can wait for you there.
- The cache is down the hill a bit, about 10' below the level of the road.
- Once you're done please recover the ammocan well for the next person and retrace your steps to return to the airport.

To check the event schedule to help plan your visit go to The Georgia International Convention Center's website at www.gicc.com.

Note: No Travel Bug Motel/Hotel Owner wants to see his or her cache empty of Travel Bugs, yet Travel Bugs and Geocoins were designed to be moved, not held because it might leave a cache empty. The "take one bug, leave one bug, etc..." is only a suggestion - if you can move a bug or coin along on it's journey to complete it's goal, then please, by all means take it with you whether you trade or not :)

If you've found this cache before go ahead and log it again, this is a totally new placement in a much safer and better location :)

I hope you have as much fun finding this one as I did placing it.

Note: Travel Bug and Geocoin Caches were updated as of 8/26/07 - if you find a mistake please email me with the information.
