Geocache Description:

South side of Major Mac trail section/William Granger Greenway

This is the sixth of my caches that are located along the Humber River Trail. You can park at the Binder Twine Park at 299 Stegman’s Mill Rd. This is the same starting location as the Binder Twine Find cache GCP4KY From here it is approximately 2.3 KM to the cache, that you can access by foot or by bicycle. The trail is a nicely gravelled wide path. There is a second access point located closer to the cache with parking, called the William T Foster Woods. This parking location is at the South end of Kleinburg on Islington Avenue. 43N50.112 079W37.231 this should knock off 1 Km or more each way. From this location you will walk through a meadow that leads you into a wooded trial, down a hill and over a bridge called the Elizabeth Simcoe Bridge. At the end of the bridge the trail T’s into the main trail and then on to the cache. The cache is located at 624' elevation on a side trail. It is filled with the usual dollar store goods. Have fun!
