Geocache Description:

Bring your walking shoes, this one is a hike!

Located by Shannon Lake, off a marked trail.  Take Found Lake Rd to the parking area.  It is a half mile hike to the trail. Enjoy the walk, go all the way around for a nice 1.7 mile hike.  

Cache is part of the Northwood Treasure Hunt Campaign, running from March 1st to June 1st 2008, but the cache will be available afterwards.  Please follow this link for more information:  http://www.northwoodsgeocaching.com

Cache is in an ammo can with some nice little trinkets.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Sonja Margitan at the Trout Lake Headquarters of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
