Geocache Description:

We began our geocaching career on 8 August 2009. Our team loves this sport and has contributed to it by hiding caches of varying difficulty and terrain in the Fox Valley.

Most of these hides have been relatively easy to find and retrieve...until now!

This cache is located along a public walking trail through a wooded area in the City of Kaukauna.

I suggest that you park here: N 44 16.218 W 088 16.291 and walk down to the trail to attempt these caches.

If you want to begin the series at the other end of the trail near Hwy CE, there is alternate parking available here: N 44 15.574 W 088 16.048

This series of caches is meant to honor those men and women who have served in the United States military, especially those in the special forces.

Military Cache Series

(Listed in order from easiest to most difficult)

Air Force Fighter Pilot GC26ERC

Army Airborne GC26E70

Marine Expeditionary Force GC26E4C

Navy SEAL GC26E2A

Those geocachers who successfully complete this series and fulfill all of the requirements will receive the honor of becoming a member of the Geocacher Special Forces.

I will post their names and the date that they completed the series on the Navy SEAL cache page.

For those who successfully retrieve the Navy SEAL cache and sign the log, if you want to be eligible for the Geocacher Special Forces, I will also require a photo of you holding the Navy SEAL cache in your hand.

Send the photograph to Hitman4@new.rr.com

Only those individual geocachers who personally retrieve AND log all the caches in this series are eligible for the Geocacher Special Forces patch. Of course, if you are in a group who finds the cache you can still log it.

Every geocacher who successfully completes this military series, personally retrieves and logs all of the caches, and fulfills all of the requirements will receive a Geocacher Special Forces patch.

Once you have completed the requirements, please notify me by sending me an email: Hitman4@new.rr.com

Navy SEAL training is universally regarded by military experts as the toughest in the world.
Over 80% of those who attempt to become a Navy SEAL fail to complete the training.
I expect a similar failure rate for this series of caches.

Warning! Retrieve this cache at your own risk!

DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE ALONE OR AT NIGHT!

Please return this cache to the EXACT SAME LOCATION.

Be sure and carry a pen with you while you retrieve the cache!

This particular cache will honor the U.S. Navy SEALs.

The acronym SEAL stands for Sea, Air, and Land.

U.S. Navy SEALs operate in any type of terrain or weather. They use underwater SCUBA gear, parachute from planes, and climb or repel down from cliffs.

As a former Navy Corpsman, I have the utmost respect for them.

Navy SEALs are the fiercest and most highly skilled fighting force in the world. You'll need some of that skill and determination to retrieve this cache!

After you retrieve the cache and sign the log, turn around and salute the flag on top of the hill.

Warning! Retrieve this cache at your own risk!
