Not to be mistaken for Scilly Sausage on Burnt Island, St Agnes, which was formerly called Scilly Season, until Feb 1st 2016.
The cache is not at the given co-ords. This is the Day Mark - perhaps St Martin's most photographed feature. Set (but not published!) as the first Wherigo on Scilly, this is actually a simple cache to find, in theory...
At the final location you may find grazing animals. Please approach with care. Although they are docile, they may not enjoy dogs or being surprised.
From Darren, the IOS-WT Head Ranger:"Our North Devon Ruby Red cows are extremely docile creatures but very large which may intimidate some people."
How to find this cache: You are the owner of a "Reverse-Cache-Box", which will tell you the distance to the final cache, but not its direction.
You can start your search anywhere in the world. You will need a Smartphone or GPS device, which is capable of playing a Wherigo. Others in the UK include this one in London and one at Ashridge, Herts.
The Cartridge from -Waldmeister- is available to download here. His The Reverse Cache is the original cache.
To locate this Wherigo cache, it is your task to use the Wherigo cartridge (download it by clicking the link above) which will only give information about your distance to the final location. Try to use your Reverse Cache box as few times as possible and record the number of uses in your log, if you like. All the instructions and information you need to complete this cartridge is contained within it. It can be played in English or German.
To start you will have to type this code (with thanks to Liberal Giraffe) into your player:
804305
795296
062586
Take the code with you on your quest, you might need it if there is a problem with your Wherigo player. The cartridge itself has proven very stable in use elsewhere..
When you reach the final, you will be given some statistics. Please copy an image of it or write the details into your log if you like. This element is optional! Additionally, you will get a personal password which you can enter into the Codegenerator if you select "create" instead of "play" at the start of the cartridge. Save this if you want to, so you can build your own reverse cache where ever you want in the world (Just tell -Waldmeister- about your plans!).
Please do not write any hints into your log about how and where you found the cache or post photos that might give the final location away. Thank you.
