Geocache Description:

The cache is a small 125ml plastic container with a log book and pencil. There is enough space for a couple of small trades, or a small Travel Bug or Geocoin.

Tucked around the back of Chelmsford Fire Station are the garages that house the Essex County Fire & Rescue Driving School.

The driving school uses conventional fire appliances and also has a pair of crew-cabbed curtainsider lorries in full livery with lights and other appliance extras.

These are necessary as a conventional fire appliance does not meet the Driving Standard Agency Minimum Test Vehicle requirements for LGV tests.

These vehicles are also available for use as equipment carriers in the event of a major incident.
