Peaked Out!: Mount Mercer Traditional Cache

Elevation: 5577 ft. When you get to this cache you will be Peaked Out at the highest point of Mount Mercer.
The highest peak along the Elk/ Thurston ridge

This cache will take you along the Elk\Thurston Trail up to Mount Mercer. If you have a 4x4 you can get to the Mount Mercer trail head and it will be around a 1hr hike. If you don't have a 4x4 this cache can be accessed by hiking up Elk Mountain, going across to Thurston and then to the Mercer trail head. There are caches going across the ridge from Elk to Mercer now.
This round trip will take approx 8hrs.
