Entente: UK stage 1 Traditional Cache

Boneychest & Catsuey: In agreement with my Geofriends around the world (antpadgem (Australia), marmi&tas (Canada) & weathernowcast (USA)), it is time to archive this series.

It had indeed been an 'entente cordial' so thank you to all who have found these caches and especially to all who made contact with others around the globe in an attemp to find the final mystery cache in any of the four countries.

In order to find this cache you must complete the following steps:

Step 1:  Find entente: UK Stage 1 (at the above co-ordinates)
Step 2:  After finding entente: UK Stage 1 record the following:
  • an eastern or western hemisphere coordinate (for a cache in either US, Canada or Australia)
  • a northern or southern hemisphere coordinate (for a cache in either US, Canada or Australia)
  • a password for you to obtain information from geocachers in one of the following countries (for a cache in either US, Canada or Australia)
  • the UK password.
Step 3:  With the country password found in Step 2 above contact geocachers in that country to trade information that will allow you to find the final coordinates for this cache which is located somewhere in the Somersham area "Entente; UK Final"

The information to trade will include:
  • Passwords, eastern hemisphere coordinates, western hemisphere coordinates, northern hemisphere coordinates, southern hemisphere coordinates
Step 4: If contacted by geocachers from one of the other countries with the UK password you must provide information you recorded from this cache (entente: UK stage 1)

How do I start to form an entente?   You can post a note here telling other geocachers what passwords and coordinates you have collected and wish to trade - DO NOT post the actual coordinates or password.  You can post notes on the other entente final stages to let other geocachers know what information you have and what you need.  You can use geocaching.com to contact other geocachers with notes on what information you would like to trade.
