Super Hero Series: The Flash Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

DTCBEARSnMATHMATE: We stopped by today to see if workers had fixed the ‘situation’ at GZ yet, so we could replace the cache. Nope... They hadn’t.
.
And additionally, kinda like Elvis, Jimmy Johns has now ‘left the building’!😳 What? Huh? When did THAT happen? Yep.... The place is empty and their Name is gone from the front!😳
.
So the reason for which we had placed THE FLASH cache THERE in the first place, (I.E. Jimmy Johns... they’re ‘FAST’) is now gone.🤷🏻‍♂️ Paired with the fact the host beacon has a ‘situation’, and the rest of the superheroes had previously been archived, we’re just gonna let this one go.😢
.
It’s been a fun ‘run’ Flash.🤣😂 Safe travels!

Geocache Description:

BE VERY STEALTHY (AND FAST) WHEN LOCATING AND GRABBING THIS CACHE !
THERE ARE TONS OF MUGGLES IN THIS AREA COMING AND GOING ALL OF THE TIME.

This is an ‘INITIALS ONLY’, ‘LOG ONLY’ cache. Bring a pen to sign the log. You must sign the log to claim the find online.

This is the second of five caches in the Super Hero Series of caches that I am placing. The series includes Batman, Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Aquaman. These are just a few of my heroes that came to life in comic books when I was much younger than I am today.

Nicknamed the Scarlet Speedster, the Flash possesses "super speed", which includes the ability to run and move extremely fast, using superhuman reflexes and seemingly violates certain laws of physics.

The Flash first appeared in Flash Comics #1 (Jan. 1940).  This Flash was Jay Garrick, a college student who gained his speed through the inhalation of hard water and later, heavy water vapors. In 1956, DC Comics successfully revived superheroes. The Flash was the first revival, in the aptly named tryout comic book Showcase #4 (Oct. 1956). This new Flash was Barry Allen, a police scientist who gained super-speed when bathed by chemicals after a shelf of them was struck by lightning. He adopted the name The Flash after reading a comic book featuring the Golden Age Flash.

All incarnations of the Flash can move, think, and react at superhuman speeds. Some, notably later versions, can vibrate so fast that they can walk through walls, travel through time and can also lend and borrow speed. Furthermore, all members have an invisible aura around their bodies that prevents themselves and their clothes from being affected by air friction as they move at high speed.  All of these powers helped The Flash to become a fantastic crime-fighter.  On several occasions, the Flash has raced against Superman, either to determine who is faster or as part of a mutual effort to thwart some type of threat; these races, however, often resulted in ties because of outside circumstances.

Bottom line....    this Flash dude is FAST....   REALLY FAST....   Maybe even faster than some of the humans in the vacinity of this cache who claim to be fast.

* Congrats to MisplacedMyMarbles for the FTF ! *
