PEACHTREE Points Of Interest - THE SERIES

Peachtree, Peachtree, Everywhere! This ever-expanding series of Caches highlight Points Of Interest located in Atlanta, GA along this road called Peachtree.

Atlanta is famous for many things but among the best known is Peachtree Street. It’s been said that you can’t drive through Atlanta without encountering at least one street, court, lane, circle, trail or spur that has PEACHTREE in its name. But all these pretenders are but side-streets off the main thoroughfare which starts as Peachtree Street downtown and runs north of the city as Peachtree Road. As its 15 mile stretch weaves through town, it traces the history and highlights of Atlanta.

Park Off Peachtree The Location: Atlanta is known for it’s sprawl, primarily to the north. But as the city pushes further and further, parks are being created along Peachtree as a refuge for families – adults, kids & pets – to enjoy. This area quickly isolates its visitors from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cache is a large box wrapped in camo tape. No problems with free parking once you make it by the killer speed bumps. There’s a short walk along an open path. At the location, the semi-experienced cacher will know where to find it. The Park is open from 7a to Sunset.
