This is 1 of 3 STARTing points for the
Mysteries of the Great SoCal Mojave Mega-Triangles Scavenger
hunt event. Start at any of the three START HERE events including
this one between 9am-10am. For your convenience, you should pick
the START HERE event that is closest to your home location or first
in line with your direction of travel towards the heart of the
triangles (Kramer's Junction). You'll be assigned the same set of
search areas and mysteries to uncover nomatter which START HERE
event you decide to attend and you may only log an attendance on
one START HERE event. Each party will randomly be given a place to
start near their start events so that there are no cache mobs out
the gate!
Come on down (or up or over as it may be) for a free continental
breakfast, to put your name on this log for your first event cache
for the day, and to be assigned your tasks for the rest of the day.
The early birds definitely won't be getting mere worms... :)
The host will not be at this location until one half hour before
START. Directions and breakfast will start at 9AM promptly and will
be available only until 10AM. After that, if you need the
directions to play, you can find the directions on this page.
To reach this location, you need to take I-15 to just north of
Barstow, then exit westward onto Hwy 58 follow it past the drive-in
movie theater then at the Y-shaped split in the road, exit 58 and
follow left onto North 1st Ave. Pass Irwin Road and there is a BIG
billboard on your immediate right where everyone will park. Like
all HDGC medium and large events, there will be a sign-in to prove
you attended and were given START instructions for the larger
event. You will have to also sign a waiver which states you promise
to obey all speed laws, etc. before you will receive your START
package for the Triangles event. 5150Joker will be your host for
this event...
