The Bijambare area, famous for its caves, is located on the far north-eastern slopes of Sarajevo District , about one hour away from
Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is accessible by the main road Sarajevo-Tuzla,
from which an asphalt road branches out leading towards a mountain home and the especially known Bijambare cave.
Large parts of these caves are open to visitors.
A nice excursion for the whole family... In the Park, next to the Caves,
there is a Place to stay in the Night.
You can park at: N 44° 04.794 E018° 30.917
The round is arround 6km long. You are able to go with stroller until you reach cache number 4.

Zaštićeni pejzaž Bijambare se nalazi na krajnjim sjeveroistočnim padinama Kantona Sarajevo, neposredno uz magistralnu cestu Sarajevo-Tuzla.
Glavna ili Bijambarska pećina je dosta velika i njena dužina iznosi 420m.
Pećina je bogata oblicima pećinskog nakita kao što su stalaktiti, stalagmiti, draperije, bigrene kade, stubovi i slično.
U Gornjoj bijambarskoj pećini pronađen je alat za obrađivanje kamena, te ostatak pećinskog čovjeka.
Kosturi starih medvjeda, jelena i drugih životinja su također otkriveni u nekim od pećina.
Možete provesti predivan dan sa svojom porodicom u ovoj prekrasnoj prirodi...
U planinarskom domu, neposredno pored pecina, postoji mogucnost prenocenja.

Tura puta je duga 6 km. Pristup sa dječijim kolicima je mogućdo Cache-a broj 4.

Das Naturschutzgebiet Bijambare, bekannt durch seine Tropfsteinhöhlen, befindet sich eine Autostunde Nord-Westlich vom Kanton Sarajevo.
Das Gebiet befindet sich an der Verbindunsstraße zwischen Sarajevo und Tuzla. Ein Großteil der Höhlen sind für Besucher zugänglich.
Die Haupthöhle und somit die größte ist Bijambarska pećina und ihre Länge beträgt ca.420m.
In diesen Höhlen wurden auch Überreste von Höhlenmenschen gefunden.
Schöner Ausflug für die ganze Familie in einer tollen Natur.
Unmittelbar bei den Höhlen gibt es eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit.

Die Runde ist ca. 6 Km Lang und bis Cache Nr.4 auch mit dem Kinderwagen machbar.
