At the end of the 1800's this
local parish became witness to some of the strangest chain of
events this land has even seen. There is a being, who is named
locally as one, Dracula, who resides in the highest tower of this
castle. His mere presence in this area means that the locals have
to threat softly at night so as not to arouse Dracula.
This busy hill top location should be
approached with a maxium degree of carefulness. Although, Dracula
is seldom seen here, the last sighting produced a tragedy of
unspeakable proportions.
In 1883, Dracula deftly left his castle,
prowling the narrow streets surrounding his abode. One unsuspecting
female, named Mida, happened to be doing some late night errands
ourside her homestead. On spotting his quarry, Dracula swiftly made
a move and lunged onto her neck, inflicting two puncture
holes.
Her husband, on hearing of the attack,
contacted the local detective, Van Helsing, who after making a
detailed examination of the injury, came to the conclusion that she
was indeed a victim of a terrible monster, Dracula. Van Helsing
deemed the only solution was to condemn Mida to be slain my means
of a stake through the heart.
Mida's body was laid to rest in one of the
tombs outside the Castle, and fresh garlic was scattered around the
streets of Shandon to keep the Vampire at bay.
So come yourself and look for the clue
that will give you an invitation to the Monster's Ball. We give you
just one suggestion...bring some garlic and a stake!
